Softball Recap: Torrington Takes a Loss

Torrington came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-3 to the Rock Springs TIGERS.

Torrington saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Macauley McIntosh, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one double.

Torrington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Rock Springs, their record is now 4-8-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Torrington beat the TIGERS by a score of 12-11 later that day.
