Basketball Recap: Lower Cape May Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Our Lady of Mercy Academy, Lower Cape May was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 49-42 victory over the Atlantic Christian Cougars.

When it comes to explaining why Atlantic Christian lost, don't look at Gianna Flynn. Despite the final result, she shot 43% from the field en route to 21 points and eight boards. Malena Meyer was another key player, putting up six points and 16 rebounds.

Lower Cape May's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Atlantic Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.

Lower Cape May does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Atlantic Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Calvary Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
