Port Charlotte extended their postseason success on Friday against Fort Myers. They blew past the Fort Myers Green Wave, posting a 71-44 victory. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Port Charlotte to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dallas Lambert, who went 6-for-9 on his way to 14 points. Another player making a difference was Marcus Nestor, who posted 13 points.

Port Charlotte smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

When it comes to explaining why Fort Myers lost, don't look at James Michel. Despite the final result, he put up 18 points. Karsten Schafer was another key player, putting up eight points.

Port Charlotte's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Fort Myers, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Port Charlotte didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 76-47 victory against Naples on the 12th. Fort Myers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
