Bennington was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against North Platte on Saturday. The Bennington Badgers put the hurt on the North Platte Bulldogs with a sharp 70-46 victory. The Badgers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 24 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bennington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Allie John, who posted 11 points and six rebounds. Skylar Johnson was another key player, putting up 11 points and three steals.

Bennington was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Platte only racked up 11 assists.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Josie Douglas, who put up 13 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaycee Burk, who had 11 points.

Bennington pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for North Platte, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bennington will take on Blair at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bennington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.1 points per game this season. As for North Platte, they will square off against Pius X at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Pius X will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something North Platte surely won't give up without a fight.
