In what's become a running theme this season, the Poteet Pirates gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over Spruce. It was an even better day for Yaretzi Munoz as she scored three goals for her team.
The win (which was Poteet's third in a row) raised their record to 15-3-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three contests. As for Spruce, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poteet will take on Conrad at 7:20 p.m. on Friday. Conrad's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Spruce, they will head out on the road to take on Seagoville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
