Soccer Recap: Ligonier Valley Comes Up Short

Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Ligonier Valley's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ligonier Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Steel Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ligonier Valley will challenge United at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Ligonier Valley will be up against United's rather soft defense (which has allowed seven goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Steel Valley, they will take on Elizabeth Forward at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
