Softball Recap: Six Straight Road Victories for Mt. Spokane

Mt. Spokane never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the University Titans. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly 12 runs.

Mt. Spokane's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for University, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Spokane will take on Mead at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for University, they will square off against Ferris at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Saxons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.8 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
