Basketball Recap: Annapolis Cougars vs. Crestwood Chargers
The Annapolis Cougars lost against the Crestwood Chargers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Annapolis took a serious blow against the Chargers, falling 61-20. Annapolis has struggled against the Chargers recently, as their game on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Annapolis lost, one person who can't be blamed is Elizabeth Silverthorn. Despite the final result, she scored nine points.
Annapolis has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Crestwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Annapolis will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Robichaud is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Crestwood, they will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Redford Union will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
