Northeast Early College's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the LBJ Austin Jaguars a 4-0 shutout. Considering the Raiders have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Raquel Alvarez and Daniela Gonzales scored all four of Northeast Early College's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

Northeast Early College is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. LBJ Austin is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast Early College will host Lago Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lago Vista will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Northeast Early College surely won't give up without a fight. As for LBJ Austin, they will challenge Austin Achieve at 6:15 p.m. on March 11th.
