D'Hanis had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.1 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Knippa Crushers 44-16. The Cowboys pushed the score to 40-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Crushers cut but never quite recovered from.

D'Hanis' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.0 points per game. As for Knippa, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. D'Hanis will take on Utopia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. D'Hanis is facing Utopia at the right time seeing as Utopia is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
