Jesuit kept a clean sheet against Folsom on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs, sneaking past 1-0. Given Jesuit's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 179th, while Folsom are ranked 678th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 7-5-3. As for Folsom, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Jesuit will face off against Granite Bay at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Folsom, they will take on Rocklin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rocklin's last seven contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
