Softball Recap: West Bridgewater Comes Up Short

West Bridgewater lost against Greater New Bedford RVT back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats lost 12-3 to the Bears. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alanna Fidalgo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Regan Bryant, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base.

West Bridgewater's record is now 5-11. As for Greater New Bedford RVT, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, West Bridgewater will be playing in front of their home fans against Case at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season. As for Greater New Bedford RVT, they will challenge Dartmouth at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
