Basketball Recap: Cave Spring Comes Up Short

Cave Spring was the 44-43 winner over Hidden Valley when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Cave Spring Knights took a 61-45 bruising from the Hidden Valley Titans on Monday.

Cave Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Hidden Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cave Spring will venture away from home to face off against Blacksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cave Spring is facing Blacksburg at the right time seeing as Blacksburg is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Hidden Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
