It's playoff time, and Crooked Oak had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Jones Longhorns by a score of 70-60 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Ruf-Nex sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Elijah Garcia was his usual excellent self, going 9-for-17 to rack up 25 points and seven assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Jamel Morris, who shot 70% from the field on his way to 17 points and five rebounds.

Crooked Oak's victory bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Jones, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-10.

Coming up, Crooked Oak will challenge Sequoyah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jones does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
