Soccer Recap: South Allegheny vs. Southmoreland
South Allegheny was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Southmoreland Scotties. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Gladiators it sure didn't stay that way.
South Allegheny's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Southmoreland, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
South Allegheny didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win vs. Serra Catholic on the 25th. As for Southmoreland, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Charleroi at 7:00 p.m.
