Softball Recap: Prestonsburg Blackcats vs. Floyd Central Jaguars

Prestonsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell victim to a tough 15-8 loss at the hands of the Floyd Central Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Prestonsburg of the 19-9 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Johnna Ward made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 4-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and an RBI. Another player making a difference was Hailey Cline, who went 2-for-4 with a home run.
