Baseball Game Preview: East Webster Wolverines vs. Mooreville Troopers

For the second straight game, East Webster will face off against Mooreville. The Wolverines will challenge the Troopers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Webster is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

East Webster's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over Mooreville.

Stetson Perkins was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Cooper Stidham also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

East Webster's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Mooreville, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 15-7.
