Baseball Game Preview: Roselle Park Panthers vs. Bound Brook Crusaders

The Roselle Park Panthers will challenge the Bound Brook Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bound Brook took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Roselle Park, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Roselle Park made easy work of Dickinson and carried off a 17-1 win.

Meanwhile, Bound Brook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Keansburg. On the bright side, the five- run effort marked the Crusaders' highest-scoring contest to date.

Ryan Cunha put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero). He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

In other batting news, Aiden Boehm was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That run marked the first that he has scored this season. Another player making a difference was Julian Chacon, who earned one run and four stolen bases.
