It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lake Placid ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Clewiston Tigers 3-2. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Eddy Tinajero, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Lake Placid's record now sits at 5-7. As for Clewiston, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Placid will welcome St. Albans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clewiston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Avon Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Avon Park 3, Clewiston 1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
