Baseball Recap: Gila Ridge Victorious

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Gila Ridge ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cibola Raiders, sneaking past 6-5. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Derrick Parsons, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and one triple. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Luke Foppe was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Gila Ridge's record is now 3-13. As for Cibola, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
