Recap: Steele Canyon Cougars vs. West Hills Wolf Pack
The Steele Canyon Cougars''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past West Hills 49-7 at home. The result was nothing new for Steele Canyon, who have now won four games by 27 points or more so far this season.
Leading Steele Canyon to victory were Nico Jara and Johnathan Sablan. Jara gained 76 total yards and two touchdowns, while Sablan rushed for 174 yards and a touchdown.
Steele Canyon now has a winning record of 5-4. As for West Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
Steele Canyon will take on Helix at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Helix knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Steele Canyon likes a good challenge. As for West Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Santana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Santana is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
