It was a good run, but Rossview unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Pope John Paul II Knights, falling 4-1. Rossview were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Pope John Paul II apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Rossview's goal came courtesy of Kaden Armitage, which was the first he's scored this season.

Rossview's loss dropped their record down to 8-3-3. As for Pope John Paul II, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-6-2.

Rossview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pope John Paul II, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Montgomery Bell Academy at 6:00 p.m.
