Basketball Recap: Doyle Skates Past Bogalusa with Ease

Doyle won the last time they faced Bogalusa and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Doyle Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bogalusa Lumberjacks 77-41. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Lumberjacks are ranked 321st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Doyle has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 25-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points over those games. As for Bogalusa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-24.

Doyle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-44 victory against Sumner on the 13th. As for Bogalusa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 82-54 loss against Amite on the 13th.
