The Gibson Southern Titans will challenge the Jasper Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Gibson Southern sitting on four straight wins and Jasper on five.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Gibson Southern and North Posey, and Gibson Southern kept the tradition alive. Gibson Southern came out on top against North Posey by a score of 51-39 on Thursday.

Cam Novotny had an outrageously good game as he shot 70% from the field en route to 18 points. What's more, he posted two steals, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Brodey Lamb was another key player, putting up nine points along with seven assists and five rebounds.

Gibson Southern was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They are 17-2 when they've passed the ball that well.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Jasper and Bedford North Lawrence had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Jasper walked away with a 60-52 victory over Bedford North Lawrence on Thursday. The score was all tied up 26-26 at the break, but the Wildcats were the better team in the second half.

Gibson Southern pushed their record up to 17-5 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points over those games. As for Jasper, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.

Everything went Gibson Southern's way against Jasper in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Gibson Southern made off with a 65-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gibson Southern since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
