Soccer Preview: Mountainside Meets Sunset

The Mountainside Mavericks will face off against the Sunset Apollos on Wednesday.

Last Thursday, neither Mountainside nor Beaverton could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sunset had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They never let the Vikings get on the board and left with a 2-0 win.

Mountainside beat Sunset the only time they met in the regular season. Can they make it two in a row in the postseason? We'll have the answer soon enough.
