Algoma and Southern Door are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2018, but not for long. The Wolves will square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Southern Door had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Vikings as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The matchup marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-21.

Southern Door's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Algoma, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Everything went Algoma's way against Southern Door in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Algoma made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
