Basketball Recap: Spring Finds Playoff Glory Versus Grand Oaks

It's playoff time, and Spring had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Grand Oaks Grizzlies to the tune of 65-25 on Monday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Lions' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 697th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 105th).

Spring is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-17 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26 points. As for Grand Oaks, their loss dropped their record down to 29-4.

Spring does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grand Oaks, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-38 win against Klein Collins on the 13th.
