The North Forney Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the Tyler Legacy Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in North Forney's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
On Friday, North Forney didn't have too much trouble with Forney as they won 35-16. Those 35 points were actually the fewest the Falcons have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

North Forney can attribute much of their success to Legend Bey, who rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and Andikan Asuquo, who rushed for 124 yards and one score on only 13 carries. That's the most rushing yards Asuquo has posted since back in October of 2024.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: North Forney was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 267 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 215 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
North Forney didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Deuce Gilbert and Aayden Minger. Gilbert has been hot recently, having posted at least one interception the last three times he's played.
Meanwhile, Tyler Legacy took a blow against Rockwall-Heath on Friday, falling 51-21. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Hawks are ranked 28th).
North Forney will have to contain DJ Owens as he made an impact in Tyler Legacy's last game. He picked up 121 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Tyler Legacy also got help from Takaiden Brown, who showed off his sure hands for 121 receiving yards.
Tyler Legacy dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for North Forney, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
Everything came up roses for North Forney against Tyler Legacy when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 39-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
