Softball Recap: Ashley Screaming Eagle vs. North Brunswick Scorpions

Ashley was the 10-9 winner over North Brunswick when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Ashley Screaming Eagle fell just short of the North Brunswick Scorpions by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. Ashley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sawyer Rigdon was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Vayda Lequire, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

On North Brunswick's side, Hanna Robinson tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.
