Softball Recap: Rowan County's Winning Streak Snapped at 17 Games

It was a good run, but Rowan County unfortunately witnessed the end of their 17-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Warren East Raiders by a score of 2-1.

Rowan County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Diamond Wills, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Another was Ryleigh Howard, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Rowan County's loss dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Warren East, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Rowan County will venture away from home to challenge Lawrence County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Warren East, they will host Bowling Green at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
