Preview: Hannah-Pamplico Raiders vs. Green Sea Floyds Trojans
Hannah-Pamplico has been on the road for three straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Green Sea Floyds Trojans at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Hannah-Pamplico suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They took a serious blow against Richland Northeast, falling 57-30. While losing is never fun, Hannah-Pamplico can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while Richland Northeast is ranked 62nd).
Hannah-Pamplico's defeat came about despite a quality game from Tylin Jenkins, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Hannah-Pamplico struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Richland Northeast racked up 13 assists.
Green Sea Floyds suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Lake View by a score of 50-48.
Hannah-Pamplico's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Green Sea Floyds, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.
Hannah-Pamplico beat Green Sea Floyds 48-41 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Does Hannah-Pamplico have another victory up their sleeve, or will Green Sea Floyds turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
