Basketball Game Preview: Bishop DuBourg Cavaliers vs. Rosati-Kain Kougers

The Bishop DuBourg Cavaliers will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Rosati-Kain Kougers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Friday, Bishop DuBourg was beaten by Lutheran South 75-14. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Rosati-Kain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience and fell 52-13.

Bishop DuBourg's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Rosati-Kain, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Bishop DuBourg came up short against Rosati-Kain in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 27-23. Can Bishop DuBourg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
