Football Recap: Christian Freeman Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Dudley + How To Watch

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Southeast Raleigh on Friday. Everything went their way against the Dudley Panthers as they made off with a 31-6 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Southeast Raleigh got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Christian Freeman out in front who rushed for 132 yards while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also caught one score. Another rusher making a difference was James Adams IV, who rushed for 91 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Southeast Raleigh's defense and their three sacks. In that department, Jaquan Higgins was the leader with two. Southeast Raleigh received some extra help from Keysaun Eleazer, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Southeast Raleigh's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Dudley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Southeast Raleigh will square off against East Wake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dudley, they will challenge Hillside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
