Volleyball Recap: Fresno Christian Takes a Loss

Fresno Christian was the 3-0 winner over Sanger when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Apaches on Thursday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-17.

Jordyn Degroot paced Fresno Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Degroot got some help from Tatum Mcquown and her four assists.

Fresno Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Sanger, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Fresno Christian will challenge San Joaquin Memorial at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sanger, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Madera at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
