Ponte Vedra won the last time they faced University Christian and Maddox Palmer did his part to make sure it happened again. The Sharks came out on top against the Christians by a score of 66-59 on Monday with plenty of help from Palmer, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 15 boards. The contest was his seventh in a row with at least 18 points.

University Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Wayne Castle, who posted 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Markel Holmes, who had 11 points and five assists.

Ponte Vedra now has a winning record of 3-2. As for University Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Ponte Vedra wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 70-35 win against Bartram Trail on the 3rd.
