Basketball Recap: Charlotte Performance Institute Takes a Loss

Charlotte Performance Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 82-60 to the Riviera Prep Bulldogs.

Charlotte Performance Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Riviera Prep, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Charlotte Performance Institute and College Achieve will compete for holiday cheer at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Riviera Prep, they will be taking part in a tournament against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Riviera Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy likes a good challenge.
