Volleyball Recap: Unity Christian Extends Winning Streak to Four

Unity Christian waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against Varsity Opponent by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory last Thursday.

Emily Merema paced Unity Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Merema got some help from Maddy Wilbur and her six assists. Merema also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ella Behr, each putting up three.

Unity Christian's win bumped their record up to 22-8.

Varsity Opponent wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Solid Rock Christian School on the 17th. Hopefully Unity Christian paid attention to Varsity Opponent's contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
