It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Franklin Community can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Floyd Central Highlanders on Saturday. The Grizzly Cubs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Rose Mahin paced Franklin Community's offense, picking up 21 kills. Mahin got some help from Karlin Burton and her 28 assists.

Franklin Community's defeat dropped their record down to 25-8. As for Floyd Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 23 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.

Franklin Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Floyd Central, after both having extra time off, they and Yorktown will shake off the rust and duke it out at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
