Softball Recap: Williams Vikings vs. St. David Tigers

Williams dropped their record down to 15-12 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the St. David Tigers by a score of 5-4. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

At the plate, Jasmine Wise was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Williams does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. David, they will challenge Joseph City at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
