Picayune waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Long Beach Bearcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Maroon Tide also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2025.

Kadie Rushing was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. Brooke Rouse was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Picayune's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Long Beach, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Coming up, Picayune will face off against West Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Maroon Tide's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. Long Beach will be paying especially close attention to Picayune's game: after Picayune faces off against West Marion, they'll take on Long Beach again at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
