Volleyball Recap: Flandreau Takes a Loss

Flandreau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oldham-Ramona/R Rutland. The Fliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rutland apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13.

Hannah Krull paced Flandreau's offense, picking up six kills. Krull got some help from Aly Schepel and her 12 assists. Rhegan Sheppard controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Flandreau's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Oldham-Ramona/R, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-4.

Flandreau wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Deubrook on the 9th. As for Oldham-Ramona/R, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Flandreau Indian on the 6th.
