Baseball Recap: Foley Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Foley hadn't done well against Robertsdale recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lions' pitcher stepped up to hand the Golden Bears a 3-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Golden Bears last Wednesday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

The result came thanks to Connor Laughery's shutout, as he gave up just two hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cooper Watkins, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.
