Basketball Recap: East Comes Up Short

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 63-56 to the Buchtel Griffins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 65-40 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Buchtel, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East and Wooster will round out the year against one another at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Buchtel and Brush will compete for holiday cheer at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
