Basketball Recap: Earlsboro Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Earlsboro and Strother squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Earlsboro had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 68-50 to the Strother Yellowjackets. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Earlsboro's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Strother, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

Earlsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Strother, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-34 defeat against Dover on the 24th.
