Volleyball Recap: Providence Classical Christian Takes a Loss

Providence Classical Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Peachtree Academy Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Providence Classical Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 25-16, 25-16, 25-18.

Providence Classical Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Peachtree Academy, they pushed their record up to 10-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Classical Christian will welcome Academe of the Oaks at 4:30 p.m. on the 25th. After both having extra time off, Peachtree Academy and Creekside Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
