Recap: Fayette Falcons vs. Father Tolton
The Fayette Falcons''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by Father Tolton at home and fell 56-0. While losing is never fun, Fayette can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 290th, while Father Tolton is ranked 110th).
Father Tolton was led to victory by Carson Jacaway and Jake Ryan. Jacaway gained 121 total yards and three touchdowns, while Ryan threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns while completing 92.3% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Lee, who picked up 99 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Fayette's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.5 points per game. As for Father Tolton, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Fayette will head out on the road to face off against Russellville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Russellville is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. Father Tolton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
