Auburn pushed their record up to 5-2 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Pike Road, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Auburn will head out to  challenge Bryant  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Pike Road, they will venture away from home to  square off against Elmore County  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
