Baseball Recap: Omaha Central's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Omaha Central had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Lincoln College Prep Tigers by a score of 9-5.

Omaha Central got a great performance from Boe Di Lorenzo as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts Di Lorenzo has posted since back in May of 2025.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Oscar Yuhas, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Omaha Central's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Lincoln College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
