Thomas County Central extended their home winning streak to nine games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Christian Lawrence. The Yellow Jackets blew past the Florida State University High School Seminoles 79-14 on Friday with plenty of help from Lawrence, who rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 55 receiving yards and one score. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 59 yards.

Jabari Watkins did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 37 receiving yards. Watkins is also crushing it when it comes to receiving touchdowns: he's hauled in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Thomas County Central's defense and their five sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece.

Thomas County Central's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Florida State University High School, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
