Soccer Recap: St. Joseph Regional Takes a Loss

St. Joseph Regional lost against Bergen Catholic back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Green Knights came up short against the Crusaders, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, St. Joseph Regional can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Bergen Catholic are ranked 13th).

St. Joseph Regional now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Bergen Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1-1.

St. Joseph Regional will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Paramus Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Bergen Catholic, they will face off against Christian Brothers Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
